Super day in St. Malo

As we set off for our walk around the harbours to La Cite of St. Malo, first thing we saw was a Brittany Ferry ship getting ready to leave.

Looking back to the Corniche d'Aleth - campsite just peeping through the trees.
A walk about the town.

And a stop for lunch on the ramparts

The gallettes were amazing and very filling.  This is John's - bacon cheese and egg.  Mine looked boring because it was a covered square, but my filling of chicken mushrooms and cheese was delicious.

More exercise walking around part of the ramparts.

Looking out to Fort National at low tide.
A bit further to the left of this gateway is a seat.  Great for an ice cream stop!

Almost home, looking across to the Cite.
Although it's been partly cloudy today, the evening sunshine has been perfect for warming up the aching joints after a day on our feet!
